Yup...so near, but yet so far. The direct result of a corporate decision to neglect relationships with analysts and others who might have been able to tell the emerging "better news" to those who might listen.

One of the things that Noam evidently did very poorly it now seems was to develop and nurture relationships that might have benefited the stock holders by having a network of analysts ready and willing to report on whatever positive turn around news MRV might have generated. Now that the news is coming, no one is there to report it. Indeed, it would have appeared that an affiliation with IBM in a potentially very lucrative and growing market would have induced at least some interest somewhere. Although we can't be sure, there apparently were few participants on the conference call, and no appreciation that MRV might be a quarter away from profitability. The lack of efforts in one very necessary area of corporate management, i.e., PR, are now being reflected in the stock price.
