I respect your views and beliefs. I don't think you can agree or disagree with a belief, with all due respect.

How can one know for sure what happened? There are serious questions as to the authenticity of all works from the Old Testament to the New Testament.

As we see on message boards, commentators will add a slant or give an opinion that may differ from someone else who claims to have witnessed the exact same thing.

This is why the gospels have varying stories.

It's not a right and wrong thing.

I like to learn about other religions and I don't understand the people who say, "it's my way or you are going to hell."

It just doesn't make sense to me that if there is a divine soul, that selection would be based on adherence to a particular rictual or set of commentaries.

I think we can all learn from the many good things that are in the ancient books and disregard the opinion and obviously out of date stuff.

The old testament has many wonderful rules, including the 10 commandments. Same with the new testament, the Koran, etc.

however, we could focus on passages that are less than noble to spread hate.
