Believe it or not, character matters to the American people. That's why there is more and more focus on flip-flops and why Kerry's behavior with respect to cutting on line with an imperious "do you know who I am?" matters.

Admittedly, it's a small thing, but it's part of the overall mix voters will consider when they decide whether the guy is presidental material.

IMO I don't think he is.
