The AWOL charge against Bush is very valid. He claims he's a war president and traipses around air=craft carriers as if he'd ever been on one before. Kerry actually fought on carriers and was a Silver Star Navy hero. Then Bush uses his people to smear, slander and demean Kerry and his service. If Cheney and Bush want Vietnam serivice to be the big issue, BRING IT ON, baby!

Given his outstanding track record of leadership under fire in Vietnam, I think he will handle crises quite well.

Bush dodged military service, so it is not surprising he folded under pressure. His 30 minutes of non-action on 9/11 directly resulted in the second plane hitting the WTC.
