Most Military aircraft have very specific roles to fill, especially those in the non-airlift, non-transport category. They have to go faster, fly farther, carry weapons and weapons control systems, land slam-arse hard on carrier decks. etc. Hence, they cost more to buy and they are not cheap to maintain in relation to commercial aircraft.

Big deal. When we need an aircraft to go "..downtown.." (ref: Night of the Intruder) and surgically remove certain targets, or refuel F-18s coming back from a strike, mission success is the important criteria, not the cost of the hardware.

They can use my tax $$$ for a new S-3B, F-22, etc., any day they want - as opposed to giving a dime of it to the (W)itch to teach children how to play with themselves "..properly.." - according to her.

"...Billions for Defense, but -- NEVER a freakin' dime for tribute..."!!!
