I don't think that AS's god would have chosen war. Bush's god did choose war and told Bush to do it.

There are many gods in this world. UBL's god is not the same as Bush's god is not the same as AS's god.

Sometimes it's difficult to separate the man from his god. If in the decision making process listening to one's god drives one to war, then maybe that god should not be listened to. A real god would have known that there were no WMD. Bush could have found that out too, either by reading the the intelligence reports more closely, or by letting the inspectors do their work.

But Bush's god had already made up George's mind for him...that war was inevitable.

So now we need a new president in the White House. One whose god knows that protecting the nation does not include pre-emptive war based on faulty intelligence, especially when viable options are on the table and are in play.
