Marble is too soft and stains. With tile you will always have to deal with grout lines. Good thing Corian is easy to fix because you/repair guy will be spending a lot of time with it.

We built a little over a year ago and that was a mistake we didn't want to make due to the price. We were able to talk to and see people that have all these type of counters. By far Granite was our #1 choice.

And you still get the agony of driving the wife all around Silicon Valley.
