In the spirit of "manufacturing consent", during the 2000 election cycle, NAFTA and 'free trade' were 'off the table'.

For example, during the contrived Presidential debates hosted by Jim "The Funeral Director" Lehrer, the term Medicare was bandied about 68 times by Bush and Gore. The term NAFTA never got mentioned a single time. Do you smell conspiracy to de-fraud the American public with such a performance? Many do.

Pat, I will give you 10:1 odds that "draft" or "conscription" are two words that will never cross the lips of either Bush or Kerry this election's 'lies & omissions' season.
