I would think everyone reading this has picked up a hammer and split a piece of wood driving a nail. Watch some framers sometime and how proud some are of their ability to drive a nail in two hits. Then go back and look and see the joints where they just obliterated the connections.

I guess I tend to rant about construction practices.) But damn it's not really a good job just because the buyer cant see behind the sheet rock. This peeve probably comes form dealing with older homes and the abortions left behind from past workers taking their 'money saving' shortcuts. I lovingly refer to these past workers as Nit-Weasels.
