Here is one that can turn a phrase. The nation must be kinky - The American Street blog President Clinton, due to the efforts of guys like Richard Scaife Mellon, became the most investigated president in history. If I recall correctly, the suicide of Vince Foster was investigated by 3 or 4 different agencies or investigators who reached the same conclusions. Tens of millions of taxpayer's money was thrown into these efforts and a few associates got convicted. Clinton was convicted of telling a lie in court about an extramarital affair, which most of the nation thought was his private business. Today, we have a commission investigating the 9-11 disaster, another investigating why the Iraq WMD intel was wrong, a special prosecutor investigation a possible botching of a terrorist ring prosecution, a special prosecutor has just been appointed to investigate computer file theft by GOP Senate staffers and another is tracking down the leaker that blew the cover of Valerie Plame. There's more special prosecutors investigating Bush and the GOP than investigated Clinton. No outsiders are pushing this stuff as Mellon did. And fresh questions are being raised about other things, like unauthorized use of military funds on things related to the buildup to our attack on Iraq, that may require more special prosecutors still. All but one are related to botch jobs in the war on terrorism. Which has earned the majority of the nation's trust of Bush's leadership in foreign policy. I can only conclude the nation is tolerant of a blowjob or two but they're absolutely eager to take it up the butt, repeatedly. Who knew?
