Gary, Unfortunately, the reality is that some of these 1st round draft picks will be busts. But it is a way for the NFL to hype its product, and for the players to hype themselves. I remember Andray Bruce, a first-pick-in-the-draft linebacker by the Falcons who was a washout. He received a huge signing bonus, but never lived up to his pre-draft hype. So regardless of what we are supposed to believe as the potential for these players, the reality may be other wise.
