True, energy input items for about everything. The 900 billion is for food, total consumer spending is over 7 trillion, so a 3% shift (or more) would be a $250 billion "tax" on consumers, a giant sucking sound that is being barely acknowledged by Wall Street. The press is picking the story up though, so the MoP will have a hard time hiding from this one too. Closing in in all sides.
