Searle,

In response to: siliconinvestor.com

I occasionally read the news on the various Indy Media outlets across the globe.

indymedia.org

A few days ago, I was reading about the coverage of the 9/11 International Inquiry which occurred in San Francisco last month. I was very surprised to see, for the first time I've observed this, that the message thread at the bottom of the article had been censored.

Interestingly, in explaining the deletion of a post, it was noted that the site referred to, rense.com, is a known purveyor of Holocaust denial rhetoric. I do not know the facts of this case. I've never seen anything on Rense.com that conforms to to censor's claim. However, I've become deeply suspicious of the rense.com for several other reasons over the past 30 months, and now regard it as an unreliable source of news and opinion.

I encourage caution and skepticism regarding rense.com.

And you'll never see me citing them as a source again, as I have consistently avoided linking to them for the past year.

The skeptic's community needs to keep its powder dry and its credibility high. Rense.com is a wet bomb, IMHO.

Salaams, Ray :)
