They are not attempting to achieve a military objective. I commented to you back in 98' regarding the consequences of Unifying the M.E. around the cause of injustice. At that time my concern was with the targeting of innocent children and villagers in Iraq via US sanctions. It was a bad policy that was bound to bring things to a boil eventually. Now that it has, the conscience of not only Arabs but African and Asian Muslims and third worlders is being focused the US. The goal of the opposition is to fan flames for anybody and everybody with a gripe and then unify them in hatred toward us.

It will be good to see the conflict in Falugia turned over to the new Iraqi military. The World is still suspicious of American occupation. The World perception needs to be turned to one of Iraqi democratic govt forces vs Al-Quaida type terrorists ASAP.

For the time being.

That may change.

Report yesterday that they had unleashed some Sarin. If they really do have a supply of Sarin, that would change the equation dramatically.
