wait a sec, what is the difference? Before 911 bin Ladin was not an imminent threat and hence should have been protected by you. You should apply your views consistently.

As far republicans objecting, I do recall republicans saying that dropping few bombs and destroying pharmaceutical company is not effective enough. To me that means that they wanted Clinton to take far more effective measures and maybe even go to war against afghanistan if needed.
