Actually, a large percentage of AS's posts accuse
those who disagree with him of being liars, ignorant,
RNC operatives, racist, or worse. I'd consider
those to be "personal attacks."

But, one has to consider the source, right?
--And be tough skinned if you want to engage
in political discussion with those of differing
viewpoints.

Nah. as don't bug me. What I was trying to get across to our thread moderator was that all posters should be treated equally. If personal attacks are not allowed then all who behave that way should be treated equally. I couldn't care less if a poster is dem or rep.

But I don't think a poster should be favoured because they are dem. Even if this is a pro Democratic party thread. :-)
