I don't think polls matter though Scott. I have seen polls predict dead heats in these overcharged political races twice- and both times my intuition was correct and anger prevailed wiping out the incumbents. One was the California recall and the other was the 98 republican congressional race when they were proceeding with the impeachment hearings. Both times the polls said a dead heat and when the results came in the incumbents were GONE.

The President's Job Approval rating is now at 52%. This may be related to the fact that economic confidence has improved significantly over the past month.
