It was Bush that was directly informed by Tenet...his hair was on fire...but Bush went on vacation.

You don't get it, that these inspections were routine...and that every airport in the nation failed them. I'd bet that many senators were made aware of that problem...even I knew of the problems at my local airport. All before 9-11.

But in July and August of 2001, Bush was made aware that plans were afoot for a hijacking...it's in the memo. Was anything done to beef up airport security? To check names on Passenger lists, to ready NORAD to scramble a jet? Nope...nothing done...except go on vacation.
