The Purple heart time line. 2 Dec 68 the scratch that required a bandaid and bacitracin. 20 Feb 69 likely very serious as zero hospital days and kerry was on duty 23 days later to get the golden wound that would get him out of Vietnan. 13 Mar 69 A great lucky injury required zero hospital days WOW 17 March and kerry has his request to get out of Vietnam I wonder how many soldiers recieved 3 wounds in less than 101 days and an out of Vietnam??? Interesting question!
