No I haven't. That shows there are idiots in every crowd. But you missed my point. Which is a brutal dictator can be ousted only by someone even more brutal. So that is why the rulers of iran are so thuggish. Only someone of that ilk could have ousted the Shah.

I think that was just an excuse in the same sense that yellow cake was just an excuse to justify invading Iraq. Any competent person knows that a religious Shiite people are not susceptible to becoming communist. I guess the US government had cultural illiterates on its payroll back then too. Of course McCarthy was finding communists under every bed those days, too.
