Emile,

I was hoping for a reasoned discussion of the verse. I am not as unteachable as you might suppose. Care to try to discuss it without assuming things on my part?

Here is my third attempt: The question posed was as to the time of the restoration, not whether it would be restored. Jesus answered that it was not for them to know the times or epochs under the Father's authority.

Jesus leaves it clearly in their mind, then, that it will be restored. They were not to know the time of it. That is good enough for me too. For I do not need to know the time either.

Your answer implies that down deep you must also believe that it will eventually be restored to Israel if the time only is under question.

I look forward to a discussion of the verse.

Stan
