"That yet another UN program is ill conceived and corrupt is hardly news."

Ya, like half of the globe holds the UN up as the one &
only legitimate arbiter in FA. This scandal shows how
rampantly corrupt the UN & many of its member nations
really are.

You claim this story isn't newsworthy to you at this time
because this "will take a while to sort out". That may be
nuance to you, but that's complete BS to me. No major
event this explosive has ever been so intentionally under-
reported that I can recall.

Like it's not newsworthy to report on the allegations &
the evidence that makes it obvious that France, Russia &
the UN may have taken billions in bribes to thwart the US
& the Coalition of the willing from properly enforcing UN
resolutions in the shadows of 9/11.

Like that wouldn't have sold tons & tons of newspapers. If
it weren't for the fact that this clearly hurts the
liberal left & clearly helps the Bush Admin, this would
compete with the 3/11 attacks for the #1 news story of the
year.

You can spin & nuance all you wish, but that IS the reason
that this is not receiving the massive global coverage
that it should be getting. And even you can't admit that
the liberal left is intentionally sitting on this story.
