Figure even 1000 years, but eventually, it will return back to CO2. It's short-term consumption, but eventually a break-even game.
(I've had one house burn in my life-time. That one only tied the wood up for about 40 years.)

(Then, if you want to get really nit-picky, add in CO2 production to get the tree logged, milled, and transported to the job).
