I think an easy test would be: Could this information be of direct interest to the readers of Foreign Affairs?

Domestic scandals involving previous government officials of any stripe do not easily satisfy this simple test.

And, I've even limited the posting of Duray-type <g> debates about certain issues concerning the present administration.

So IMHO, your comment was neither accurate nor fair.
