<<I think Margin Calls are going out right about now. I wonder how many will actually answer the phone.>>

I have sympathy for ANYBODY losing money EXCEPT for those using MARGIN.

When you use 'money, not your own' to invest, it is akin to going to Vegas, getting $100k from a loan shark and then hitting the blackjack tables......The percentages are not in your favor...those that have not learned by now that there is a thing called "prudent investing', get what they deserve......I know many that use margin and when things are going your way everything looks great....but most dont have the will power to sell and take profits and lose the margin.....the more they make, the more their 'spending power' grows and the more greedy they get...and when things turn the other way, losses come quick, and many on margin, instead of cashing out quick and saving those profits that are left, end up buying more to try and make up for their lost paper gains.....and then the phone rings....you are forced to sell and forced to sell alot....and now your buying power is zippo.......Nope, Margin is for gamblers or those without ulcers <g>.....this market is too crazy...this world is too crazy to even attempt to predict the future...all one can do is 'guess'...and when 'guessing' it is normally best to not bet too much.....all my opinion though as I am sure many have done very well with margin and each individual has the right to invest as they feel is best for them......
