If you want a pure bear fund, buy RYVNX. It does 200% the opposite of the Nasdaq 100. Of course, that means it was a disaster for anyone who bought it eighteen months ago.

See: BEARX up 0.68 % today--and RYVNX up 2.9%.

If gold heads up to $500 while the stock averages drop 50%, BEARX will come into its own and do almost as well.
