"Theresa and Rocky Ware toil in the ranks of the working poor" Doesn't sound like Rocky works too hard. Makes his wife work for minimum and has her wait in the food line. Why not send a donation to them, Kenneth? Do some good for these people. If they get free handouts they will turn the corner and be great contributers, I am sure. LOL "and the inability of many people to find jobs that match the income and benefits of the jobs they lost." Look. A kernel of truth. The hard truth of life is that there ARE NO GAURANTEES. God forbid they have to do something different. If they lost a certain job, that means it does not need to be done at this time. Should companies keep the same jobs, duties and wages indefinately? "but for a whole lot of Americans--40 million of them--the option of [earning] a living wage and benefits? Forget it" This sums up the attitudes of people like you (imo). You are prejudiced people that think people are too f'ing stupid to whipe their own butts. This guys message is FORGET ABOUT SUCCEEDING. Almost NOTHING bothers me more than this LOSER attitude that enables people to feel like victims that are owed something. Creepy and un-American imo. Prejudiced and hateful too. And while I'm at it, 100% uneffective in helping people. Hurts them in fact. This is a lousy article other than to point out the shortcomings of the prejudiced people like yourself who think that 40,000,000 Americans have no hope.
