Yes, Bill Gates includes pipes in WinXP's DOS command window,
both the > and >> plus the |MORE style to page output.
My program does write to @OUTPUT or whatever it was called
so that you can capture the screen output using > or >>,
plus |MORE will page the screen output from it going into the MORE program,
I don't think DOS supports the | like in your example
fit alien xfile 100 on | somefile.txt
as I think you may have to use > for the |
but either way a non issue, one or the other character,
since the pipe is supported.
Yes, langwhich is C'andwich suitable for your Windows C++
especially with a Welsh sauce over it.
All vanilla flavored C, the only difference I found was different library names
or .H files between Bill Gate's C and that $99 Coherent Unix which were reflected
in that If What If Diff test to decide which to declare in the compile.
Only one .C source file.
No .DLL files needed.
"Do you need a free C compiler to compile it?"
"I have Turbo C++ 4.5 for windows. I guess I could use that."
I'am sure my SDK 3.1 C++ is only a subset of yours.
Also, I didn't use any C++ instructions, no OOP.
All simple open/read/write C class 101 stuff.
I sent you the .EXE
