Wish I could offer some solutions but I don't have a DVD player. I tried searching Google for blockbuster dvd problems but I came up empty. Here's a link to Microsoft's DVD troubleshooting. Maybe there's something that rings a bell.

We have a movie that will not play on the laptop, but will play on the dvd player connected to the tv. This is a bootleg movie so I'm sure it is not a copyright issue.
