Yep, I lost my primary email accounts when @home went bust too.

What I have done, though, is to manage 3 different email accounts, each having a uniquely odd user name. One of them I use to register for things...and it is spam central. I don't even read most of the messages.

The second one I use for my home finances, credit cards, banking, utilities, etc. It gets a moderate amount of spam, but that is the one I have set up filters on so the spam is manageable. I get maybe 3 to 5 spam messages per day.

The final account is highly restricted. I only give it to my friends and family. It is for correspondence only. I get no spam, except from certain of my friends or family who wrongly think I enjoy being on their "joke" or "inspirational story" mailing list.
