In his recent article in the German daily WELT...

Here's another WELT article you probably like just as much:

Debatte: Der Aberglaube an die UNO
Kofi Annan verantwortet Ruanda und Srebrenica - und wurde dennoch UN-Generalsekretär
von Per Ahlmark
welt.de

[Debate: The superstitious belief in the UN
Kofi Annan is responsible for Rwanda and Srebrenica - and yet was elected Secretary General
By Per Ahlmark, former Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden]

Incredible.

Die Welt is probably Germany's most popular publication. It is sold everywhere. Springer also publishes BZ, Berlin's most popular street newspaper.

Axel Springer was a big supporter of American troops in Berlin. His Berlin office was just a couple of blocks at most from Checkpoint Charlie and the wall. He would love this article. Let's hope the rest of Germany sees the wisdom.
