Here in Florida, newspapers are reporting that serious shortages of cement are threatening to crimp the building boom.

That's certainly the end of China growing their infrastructure faster than their economy, at least for now. New money is going to come with a much higher price politically.

I think it's going to be interesting to see how they cope with rising unemployment if they can no longer feed the losses at state owned companies. It seems like they might accept almost any terms to keep them employed and their society stable. Even more imported "deflation" for America and the West.
