Lindy made the point the media would find a way for political reasons to mute the GDP good news by mentioning inflation.
Ten minutes after reading his comment I saw Tom Brokaw do exactly that on the nightly news.
I thought Lindy was prescient. And, yes, I would expect them to mention it. The defense is always giving both sides of the argument, but that doesn't make it any less slanted. NBC briefly mentioned GDP and gave bulk of news bite to inflation.
BTW, been reading the thread for weeks and finding it very informative.
Unfortunately, moving today and will be without broadband for a while.
Have had cable, but must now get DSL, and SBC computer for state of Calif. has been down for the last four days.
What do they say about monopolies and service? (g)
