My wife and I were married on July 4th. At the time I thought it was a good idea since we would both always have that day off, but every restaurant in town is packed on the holiday. To the point, we went to a 4th of July outdoor concert a few years back and sat too close to the stage and the music blew out my ears.

Yep. I no longer hear the ringing. But I can't hear the sounds of a quiet peaceful night either. Kinda like a very dull roar now in the background.
