MORE ON NIGHTLINE
By Cori Dauber - Ranting Profs

Via Buzzmachine, one media owner thinks Koppel is engaged in political activity designed to undermine the war, and the company isn't having any of it -- instead they're preempting ole Ted Friday night.

Appropos of an earlier comment section debate that got a bit heated, lets say we agree that's what Nightline is doing? Does it make them treasonous, an enemy within? Not one bit. Although it does make them mendacious, condescending pompous asses who should be called on their cheap stunt. Of course that's what I've been saying all along. That's why I agree with Jeff Jarvis that it's wrong to approach the situation this way, by making the show unavailable to a lot of people. Let them see it, air something right before that explains how this is a cheap stunt, and then see what reaction Nightline gets.

I thought the program was very well done.

Brought back uncomfortable memories, though, that I would prefer not to remember. He's toned it down a lot since the early days.

Glory, glory, hallelujah.
