I wouldn't be so quick to say that terrorism
anywhere in the world, absent Palestinian
related issues, is directed against the U.S.

In some cases, it may be true, but I would
hesitate to make such an all inclusive statement.

IMO, any increase in terrorism around the world
likely flows from the lack of resolve on the
part of our so-called "friends". Terrorists
are not stupid, they are exploiting the divides
and making people think they can control countries.
The Spanish election is one example. The kidnapping of
hostages in Iraq with demands of withdrawal is
another.
