MW: Until 1999, WOW did not have its own data feed. The software was ported so you could choose from a variety of providers.

Once WOW started its own feed in late 1999 or early 2000 (I can't remember for sure), it was just a few months before WOW started charging for the feed and supplying the software as part of the package. Only catch was the new software was not nearly as comprehensive as the previous DayTrader software and the new software could only be used with the WOW data feed. WOW was trying to compete directly with QCharts and E-Signal, I presume.

WOW's customer support was very lacking, not quiet as bad as QCharts, but in the neighborhood. The TradeStation purchase of WOW, I suspect, saved WOW from bankruptcy and ultimately proved to be a win, win for both customer bases.
