Yes, that is the key point. What is everyones opinion on this?
Do the banks not care becuase 1) They have offloaded the loan risk onto the tax payers through FNM etc?
2) The bank owners know we are all F@#ked in the long run so they are maximizing their own short term profits by doing anything to raise ST profits and selling into this strength: what happens later to the banks they could really give a sh#$.
3) The bnks will be able to repossess the properties at distress sale prices....
I think it some combo of 1 and 2 with 4) they beleive their own hype
