That's Very Good Stuff from Don Hayes.

I like the way he defines all 3 periods. Going forward, I would be looking to see the Euphoria return to the Hang Seng China Enterprise Index, which flirted with 4K last night--to the downside. I too have felt another manic phase still lies ahead of us, after digestion.

For me, the Hang Seng CEI in 2004 is the Nasdaq in 1999, as the Fed begins to tighten. The global brain trust at that time was already in complete agreement that Nasdaq 3K was insane, and that the first Fed hike in June of 1999 was the beginning of the end.

There may be a tremendous amount of money to be made to the upside in a short amount of time, in the CEI sometime this year.

Ild,
Old Don not doing his three legged stool (or is that stool <g>) deal anymore. His track record in the past was not that stellar but I have not read him much the last 203 years. So what do I know? Nothing. <g>
