From the article:"...The two companies have unveiled an alliance to more tightly integrate Cisco switches and networking gear with IBM's management software, server and service offerings. Ideally, this will reduce the cost and time required for IBM customers to install Cisco equipment, and vice versa, because much of the heavy lifting required in figuring out how to mesh the technologies from the two giants will already have been done..."

This new CSCO relationship w/ IBM may be one of the reasons why BRCD has been falling in price the last several weeks.

Thanks Eric. As far as companies of this size go, BRCD has nice margins and cash + profits picture, at least so far. I liked their numbers in the downturn for the most part. The reason I got interested again is that one of my barometers for investing is looking at jobs postings and Brocade is hiring in a few areas. I really doubt they will warn, nobody hires when they are going to warn. But it won't matter because the other companies like QLGC warned. In fact, if I were the CFO of brcd I would be somewhat conservative this q with revs because it doesn't matter at this point, the whole space has been decimated.

BTW I keep reading things like this,
