I am highly concerned about China because it is becoming increasingly clear the dictatorship in place has every intention of staying in place, using profits from American and other consumers to keep the people happy so they will never have the will to fight for open and free elections.
They are also using profits from the USA and others to build up their military capabilities to the point where almost everyone will be afraid to fight them in the future for any reason.
If things go on as they are, mark my words, China will become the major problem for the west within 50 years. God help our children.

<I sponsor children in 4 countries through World Vision.>

Cudos to you!!!

mspolar takes care of most of that stuff in our family, but we sponsor some children as well. As I age and as my wealth hopefully continues to increase, I plan to just plain give more of it away. What the heck.
