May 8th will be the 911th day since 9-11. While the date game was important for the WTC bombers, I doubt this sort of date would be meaningful to them...

possibly, but I think there is more likely to be a 1931 style bleed down for the market. it may just be my book talking, but I keep thinking back a few months ago to when richard russell's posted a chart of homestake mining from 1920-1940. the thing hardly had a down month. it appears that in 1929 it had a top to bottom dip of 30%, but NEM has already had that. I would think the dollar has just about shot its wad and as the economic numbers get worse, the $ is going to suck gas and gold will do well, including the miners. it's crazy for people with dry powder to not start buying the miners here.

I got into some YHOO today. at this point I don't think it matters what you short, the bear is returning.

I got short the motherload of DIA/SPY/RTH on teusday and I am scared as everytime ive held in size for any given time ive been run over. Yet all the bears and bulls are looking for bounces, and not a poot buyer to be found-g/ng
