From my "cut and paste" post:<font color=blue>"Since 1967, the international community has assumed that the Arab world was ready to accept Israel's right to exist in exchange for a withdrawal to the pre-'67 lines. The beauty of this assumption was that it put the entire burden for peace on Israel."<font color=black>

It has always been up to Israel to make concessions. The combined huge Arab world forces attacked Israel FIVE times. Israel won all five times. They had to. Defeat would have meant destruction. Defeat for the Arabs only meant more dead Arabs, and the Arabs don't care about that.

For the first time in history an American President has had the balls to stand with Israel and say that the Arabs WON'T have a right of return! Also, for the first time, an American President had the balls to tell the world that Israel WILL KEEP settlements in the West Bank.

Now,....... looky what happens when an American President shows that he has some courage and conviction. The head of the UN, Cofi Annan, for the first time in history, yells publically at Arafat, and tells him to stop killing Jewish children and start working towards peace.

It's a waste of words for Annan. Annan is too stupid to understand the situation in the Middle East, or any place else. But, at least, he knows how to try and follow in President Bush's footsteps and show some balls.

Arafat will probably have Annan "removed". Watch for a suicide bomb attempt against Annan.
