What % of the public know the 1993 WTC bombing was timed to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of Iraq's defeat in the war over Kuwait? What % know the African embassy bombings came on an anniversary of the imposition of UN sanctions on Iraq? What % know the man (Abdul Rahman Yasin) indicted for preparing the explosives used in the '93 WTC bombing escaped to Iraq and was given sancturay there and a government job? Confirmed by ABC and CBS (in fact Leslie Stahl interviewed him in Baghdad in 2002). What % know giving sanctuary to Yasin was a violation of Security Council Resolution 687, which made it unlawful for Iraq to harbor a suspected terrorist? What % of the public know Osama's February 22, 1998 anti-American fatwa was issued in response to Clinton's war-threatening (against Saddam) speech four days earlier at the Pentagon? If more people are informed of these facts, will they be likely to believe Al Qaida wasn't acting in support of Saddam?
