When I moved to the islands, I decided to keep my cell as my only phone, and use cable for my Internet. Keeps the cost down.

Well, in my case the difference in speed and reliability alone makes up the difference in spades. It's easily worth the money. But I maintain a website and do a lot of ftp'ing and moving big files around, etc.
