Bush is a former Methodist ( like Laura ) and a current evangelical.

Actually, he's still a Methodist. Like Hillary Clinton BTW. Methodist and evangelical aren't mutually exclusive.

He and his mother, an Episcopalian, got in an argument about whether you needed to accept Christ to get to Heaven - he yes, she no.

Lots of people of all denominations have their own opinions on things which vary from their denominations teachings. As I think Barbara's does here. I'm only assuming this as I've had little contact with Episcopalian teaching but it must be in line with basic mainstream Christianity, I think.

They called in Billy Grahm (sp?) to settle it. He voted with Barbara.

It's Billy Graham. And you don't know much about him if you think he agreed with Barbara. I can guarantee you Billy Graham absolutely does believe you needed to accept Christ to get to Heaven. You might not take my word on this so you can check for yourself:

In case you don't know, Billy Graham is the most widely respected Christian evangelist in America.

You obviously didn't get much from that Frontline piece. I suggest you spend some time on the Graham website.
