One of your better posts Sam.... Very encouraging... The Mexican War had little to do with the fact that Mexico "wasn't democratic," as you say, and a great deal to do with the fact that--we wanted the land. Things are definitely not black and white.. They wanted the land, and so did we. They took it from the Yaquis and other indian tribes in the region, and then we took it from them.. Welcome to the human reality.. Which is why it's important that if we're going fight someone over how best to rule a piece of earth, we'd better have a better political and economic system than they have.. Hawk
