There's another (longshot) possibility that the autocomplete in Outlook Express might be the culprit...try looking at this.

Check the boxes to allow autocomplete and close all IE windows. Open it again and clear the checkmarks and close all windows. Might even reboot at this point. IE is apparently not remembering the setting. I have seen this procedure work several times with various Windows settings.

There are also a few trojans floating around that try to get email addresses by inserting themselves in the operating system and use autocomplete as a means.

You might try running a virus scan...PWSteal.Salira is the name of one of them.
