You might want to watch the show. It's really quite good. It said that he rarely attends services but prefers reading his Bible daily and Bible study groups. He has stated that you have to be born again to go to heaven. I have a friend who is a recent seminary graduate--Methodist seminary. I don't recognize Bush in her or her in Bush. In response to your specific question, I did not get the impression that Bush was a fundamentalist, though, but rather an evangelical, as I have come to understand those terms from many long hourse on SI.
