Shit, just forget that I brought it up. Far easier to just leave it at only current aliases being searchable. Another one of those damned if I do, damned if I don't things. People have complained before (for good reason) about the inability to find people who've changed their alias. Thought this would neatly address it with some minor tweaks added, but I don't want or think it warrants the hue and outcry that I'm going to do something very evil with everyone's accounts. I don't even remotely appreciate that "scare tactics" bit, even when the motivation isn't really to scare people away from using the site.
